Aube Thermostat - Great Thermostat for General Use

Posted by MICHAEL AMRHEIN on 1st Apr 2020

I have been using Aube products for well over 10 years and have found them to be reliable and easy to install. The first few times of installing them I was a bit overwhelmed by the programming and setting up according to customers' schedules but through repeated installs that task is relatively simple. As I age it is getting a little harder to read the LCD display but still a great product. Wiring to the terminals is simple and Aube even supplies a jewler's flat blade for the small set screw installation.

    Affordable Thermostat that works great

Posted by Unknown on 21st Dec 2015

I'm giving this thermostat a solid 4 stars. That doesn't mean its not great. It's a very good thermostat that is easy to install, comes with good instructions, fairly easy to use (once you refer to the instructions as its not intuitive at first glace), and very competitively priced, has all the features you expect at that price, and has been working well for months so far without a hitch. I hooked it up to the GFCI nearby with ease. The sensor is super easy to add in. All the wiring is labeled and the screen is bright enough to see without the light. The nightlight looks high-end. There are no bugs that I could find, and I pretty much tried using every features and mode. Warming systems is good. Don't bother with Nuheat, WarmlyYours etc., they aren't worth the cost. Nuheat has a fancy new Wifi-enabled one that was too pricey to justify since it didn't worth with third party home automation platforms yet.
